When you drive to Vienna Airport (Schwechat), the first thing you see is the daily rate. What you actually pay depends on three things: how long you stay, how you book and how you get to the terminal. Here is the overview with current figures from our price monitor (as of 1 November 2026).
1. Parking at the airport
The airport's own car parks are at the terminal or a few minutes' walk away. That convenience has the highest price: without booking, one day costs €33.90–€48.90 according to the official tariff, depending on the car park. Longer stays add up quickly – in the airport tariff a "week" counts as 8 days.
Best for: very short trips, pick-ups, when every minute counts.
2. Off-airport car parks with shuttle
Private car parks around the airport advertise much lower prices – currently from €5.86 per day. Read the small print:
- Is the shuttle included? With some providers yes, with others the transfer costs extra – up to €20 per trip and direction.
- "From" prices often apply only to certain dates or stay lengths.
- Keys: with some providers you hand over your car key and the car is moved.
3. Car parks with S-Bahn connection
Some providers are next to an S-Bahn station. Parking is cheap, but you add the train ticket – currently €2.20 per person and direction. For a family of four that means eight tickets there and back.
How to compare properly
Always compare the total price for your trip: parking for your stay plus the transfer for everyone travelling, there and back. That is exactly what our calculator in the price monitor does – with prices read automatically from the providers' websites.
Example: one week with Orange Parking
At Orange Parking, 7 days cost €69 (arrival on Nov 8). The shuttle to the terminal is included and runs every 15 minutes; the ride takes 10–12 minutes. Your keys stay with you, you pay when you return, and you can cancel free of charge.
Our tips
- Book online early – parking without booking is almost always the most expensive option.
- Count the transfer per person, especially for families and groups.
- Check keys and payment – keeping your keys and paying on return gives you peace of mind.
- Check the cancellation terms in case your flight changes.
The prices shown are updated automatically. Only the price on the provider's website at the time of booking is binding.
